Hand crafted vintage 100% Tongan Tapa Cloth, Price per by square meter.

As this is a hand pressed bark cloth the design will be unique in each piece, like a surprise, but all of the cloth we have are traditional creams and browns as is usual of Tongan Tapa cloth design. Tapa cloth is the bark of a Mulberry tree pressed together to make a fabric so it is layered and delicate and will have some areas that look frayed as that is how it naturally comes out.
We have a large collecion of Tapa cloths and whilst we sell these by the meter we also have larger pieces designed to stay in one piece for a wall covering so contact us for more details and available sizes.
